Global legacy has a big goal: to reach a billion souls.

Global legacy has developed the Leader Development Programme (LDP) Evangelism course, to train and prepare leaders for evangelism, whilst encouraging partnerships between evangelists and pastors. Their aim is to equip pastors and leaders for ‘a billion soul harvest’.

In the promotional video, the church’s call is explained: ‘Evangelism is worship, it is loving God. It is loving people towards God, and we were born for worship, which means we were born for evangelism.’ [1]

LDP Evangelism is a 6-month distance-learning course, specifically designed for leaders who desire to see breakthrough in evangelism in their life and ministry. Through this program, Global Legacy challenges pastors to partner with evangelists, and work together to develop an evangelistic culture at the local church level.

The course uses a variety of tools, from workbooks to video conferences with the leaders of Bethel Church Reading California.

Monthly Themes

LDP Evangelism focuses on six core themes (one each month) that will help to redefine evangelism and the role of the evangelist. They believe that these themes will serve to renew your commitment to personal evangelism, and help you to create a soul-winning culture in your ministry.

Richard Larcombe who helped develop the course said: ‘We have been so encouraged by the amazing feedback we have received about LDP Evangelism. Several leaders have told us how this program has ignited a fresh passion for outreach within their churches. We've heard some beautiful testimonies of salvation, folks being won to Christ and built into the local church. It was a desire to see precisely that kind of fruit, that prompted us to develop LDP Evangelism in the first place, and so we are grateful to God for how He seems to be using it.’
