Description

St Mary’s Church in Luton used the popular CS Lewis story The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe to attract attention to their church. They put a wardrobe in their doorway so that people literally entered through it, and hung coats there to make it authentic. If you replicate this idea you could then theme your talk around elements of the story and/or show the clips where Aslan is slain/resurrected representing what happened to Jesus.

Rationale

Connect people with the death and resurrection of Jesus by using the popular story in a creative way.

Outcome

It attracted lots of people who were walking past to come and see what was going on.
