Why not take Harvest as an opportunity to bless your neighbours, friends and family with kindness? You could:
- Rake leaves for your neighbours.
- Drop friendly reminders about the clocks changing (maybe in the form of cards): perhaps attach a small gift and/or a prayer offer for their needs in the additional hour.
- Make cookies/cakes, and share them.
- Give out a bookmark giving thanks to God for all he gives us at Harvest time, (include details of church service/Alpha courses running in the town).
- As a church, hold a market stall and donate money raised to a local charity.
- Publish a free mini-magazine and distribute locally, with high-quality goods that members of the congregation are willing to give away for free.
- Open up your church for an afternoon so people can come and see the harvest flower displays.
- Offer to wash people’s cars free of charge.

Considering everything we've already received from God, Harvest is a good chance for us to give to other people. It may additionally lead to discussions about God.

Relationships with others.
