Tope Oso, who attended a training programme, said:
"Prior to attending GWC training programmes I have always wanted to do more than my 9-5 job and also wanted to impact my local community. With the training received at Gateway Chapel, I was able to start a voluntary group in my local borough, providing housing and benefits advice to service users facing homelessness.
I started the project in 2007, and since then, the project has been growing from strength to strength, with continued support from Gateway Chapel. The project is now a registered charity providing support and advice to an average of 50 service users yearly, preventing a lot of families and individuals from becoming homeless.
Gateway Chapel training programmes have impacted my life in so many ways, and as a result, I have been able to be a source of blessing to my community."
