Description

Based around the idea of a cafe environment, Cafe Hope was designed to offer an alternative to trick or treating to local young people of Forest Gate Church and the surrounding area. It is a combination of up-the-front style challenges/games with prizes for those who win, coffee shop and creative graffiti prayer space. The games can be anything from the youth group classic 'Chubby Bunnies' (how many marshmallows can you fit in your mouth at once) to 'Egg Roulette' (5 hard boiled eggs and one raw egg that 6 people crack on their heads), 'Lip Sinc Battles' to 'Feed the Baby' (you feed a friend rice pudding whilst they are sat on your lap like feeding a baby). and many, many more games.

Every young person that attends is given free glow sticks and glow paint so that they are literally carrying the light into the darkness.
