Description

Host a world war era poetry night, include excerpts from famous books about war. Conclude the time with an act of remembrance such as lighting a candle, or use a creative prayer idea. Keep the time short and poignant, and provide tea and coffee afterwards.

Rationale

To commemorate those who lost their lives in wars. To remember the horror of wars, and identify with those who mourn the loss of loved ones.

Outcome

Building relationships, blessing those who mourn.
